The Koala Nursery School, in the County of Wynyard appears to have commenced operations by 1 February 1950. (1) The school was also known as Trail Street Nursery and Wagga Wagga Nursery (Koala). (2)
Nursery Schools provided for children of pre-school age. Pupils attended for one year and then went on to a primary school. (2)
