Photograph of "Another picture of 'Tiger', one of Tiger's 1st kittens, and aged now about 8 or 9. Only one surviving of my family of ten cats, 'Percy', the half Persian having disappeared in July of this year, after being sick for a long period. 'Tiger' not very well today, suffering from an infected jawbone, caused by a bad tooth, which has produced an abscess on the right side of the face, just under the eye. 'Nobby' - 'Nob-Nob' [Died 5.00 p.m. Monday 20th March, 1959]. Sund. : 20th Oct. 1957. 4.20 p.m. Shade"

Trees around hut loaded with small apples, not quite ripe. Nearly trod on black snake on other side of creek. Lot of these in vicinity. Tuesday, 26th Feb. 1957. 12.30 p.m. Sun"
