Found more fallen trees ahead, so decided to camp here, on small creek, running into headwaters of Lick Hole Creek. Site of old camp. Night exceptionally cold, and 3.00 a.m. before I got to bed. Weather turning showery, with rain early this morning. Walked into Log Cabin this afternoon - about 20 minutes walk. More rain. Tues. 23th April 1957. 1.50 p.m. Sun with cloud"
