1253 Photograph of "Landslip - Bald Hill - eastern extremity of the Pine Range, showing the side or edge of the mass of soil and turf which has slipped away down hill over the underlying rock. As Bald Hill has been more or less cleared of its protective timber cover, these signs of erosion are evident in a great number of places. This one, amongst others, occurs in the valley, high up between the main range and Bald Hill, water collecting or running between the rock face and the sub-soil, causing the unbound earth to slip.
